Rumpilezz Concert

The Orkestra Rumpilezz concert tour last summer, which was sponsored by Southern Exposure, took them to Lincoln Center in New York, The Rhythm Foundation in Miami Beach, Florida, San Francisco Jazz Organization in San Francisco and the San Jose Jazz Society in San Jose, California. However, it was here in Philadelphia at the Temple University Performing Arts Center [TPAC] that they recorded their next album.

If you missed this amazing concert, you have a chance to check it out now on video.

This event and the video that you are about to view were made possible through the joyous collaboration of a number of Philadelphia organizations and individuals. Philadelphia Jazz Project, WRTI, PhillyCAM, AfroTaino, Taller Puertorriqueño, Intercultural Journeys, Jesse Bermudez, Another Holiday For Skins, Scribe Video Center, Temple Performing Arts Center [TPAC] and the Painted Bride Art Center. Most important, this event was funded by a special grant provided by The Wyncote Foundation.

Philly Jazz Quotes
