Philly Makes The World Go Round is a soulful, jazzy evening of world-class, yet homegrown, Philly music. Two musical powerhouses take the stage to present this rich musical tour of the Philadelphia Jazz Scene. Master pianist, Alfred Pollitt and master bassist, Tony TNT Jones who between them have worked with Philly legends such as, Nina Simone, Norman Connors, Sister Sledge and Teddy Pendergrass.
They are joined by a solid team featuring Alexa Gold aka Alexis Simmons on vocals, Anthony DeCarlo on guitar, Paul Giess on trumpet, Tim Price on saxophones and Harry “Butch” Reed on drums.
