DivaNation debuts their 2015 salon series at One Art on this evening. Backed by Kendrah Butler (musical director, piano, voice) with Bert Harris on bass and Darryl Jackson on drums, stellar vocalists Bethlehem, Ella Gahnt, Gretchen Elise and Lizzy Filante will sing originals and standards, blending their unique voices in collaborative compositions.
Fashion meets music as vocalists will be adorned for the occasion in original designs. Simply Netfah Designs, leads a team of designers and stylists including Tyeakia 2015 with Starfire Sound 23, Kingston Koutoure, Exavia Love and Bykia. Beyond adorning the DivaNation ladies, the fashion designers will engage in a produced show at 8pm highlighting positive, uplifting, progressive and woman-centric styles, embracing all cultures and body types. Clothes will be modeled by professional models as well as up and coming youth.

One Art Community Center is focused on healing through the arts - visual, performance. Want to bring healing on all different levels to the community. The Oasis is a concrete jungle sure to inspire and rejuvenate.
DivaNation is a sisterhood of singers connected to jazz of the past and future, founded with support of the Philadelphia Jazz Project, who strive towards growth, musical excellence, and success as individual performers and as a collective. DivaNation is recruiting new members for its exciting 2015 workshop and salon series.
