This month PJP will share a free mixtape, present a culminating concert and launch a new concert series.
First up is PJP Mixtape #1:The first of a series consisting of recordings from PJP concerts and studio sessions featuring a some of Philadelphia’s finest vocalists and musicians. This mixtape series, available as a free download is an opportunity for you to check in and catch up with the amazing Philadelphia music scene. Mixtape #1 will showcase the music of vocalists Selina Carrera, Gretchen Elise, Barbara Montgomery, Jaye Sanders, Laurin Talese, Kevin Valentine, Toby vENT, Barbara Walker and poetry by Beth Feldman Brandt.
Expect to grab this freebie on our website by April 10th
Next up is the final concert of the Mysterious Travelers Concert Series at the Free Library.

Featuring Drummer Anwar Marshall, Bassists Nimrod Speaks, Brian Howell and Jason Fraticelli. The members of this quartet as individuals have shared the stage or the classroom with a diverse array of musicians including: Jimmy Cliff, Reggie Workman, Les Claypool, Billy Martin, John Hollenbeck, Orrin Evans, Edgar Meyers, Dave Douglas, Jennifer Lopez, and Robert Glasper.
And finally, we announce the start of a new concert series at the brand new, Venice Island Performance & Recreation Center in Manayunk.The first concert, featuring vocalist Rhenda Fearrington - and pianist Kendrah Butler - http://www.indigowritings.com/ will take place on Friday, April 28th.
