That means Philly JAM.

 

Philadelphia Jazz Project and its partners, including Jazz Near You, are collaborating to make sure that you know what's happening in and outside of the city..


This month in the Philadelphia area there are over 300 events…yes, 300 events that everyone can enjoy.

The Third Annual Center City Jazz Festival presents a hot lineup including artists like, Tim Warfield Jr., Steve Coleman & Five Elements, Joanna Pascale, Justin Faulkner, Ronnie Burrage and others. It all happens on Saturday, April 19th. Expect a jam-packed schedule of concerts at four venues over six hours, all within walking distance of each other in the heart of Center City.

The Somers Point Jazz Society will recognize Michael Pedicin as the 2014 “George Mesterhazy” Jazz Master Award recipient.
The award ceremony will be followed by a performance featuring the Peabody Conservatory Jazz Band from Baltimore.
