PJP Collaborator Gets Grid Philly Article

Books And Stuff

PJP Collaborator and graphic designer Lynn Washington and her Books & Stuff bookshop are the subject of a Grid Magazine article.

Washington has served as PJP's graphic designer since its inception and designed our book, "Philadelphia Jazz Stories Illustrated - Volume One."  In addition, Books & Stuff; founded in 2015 has partnered with PJP to both distribute our book and to collaborate on three, Jazz Book Raffle campaigns during Jazz Appreciation Month, each April from 2017 thru 2019. The raffles gave away two adult and two children's books focused on a Jazz artist or the subject of Jazz, each week during the month. Recently, Washington and Books & Stuff received grants to support her literacy efforts from Black Lives Matter Philly and Penguin Books.

This month, The Grid Magazine published an interview with Lynn Washington discussing her store and her desire to encourage reading and literacy.
